Called to Live an Abundant Life!

Life throws some very nasty sucker punches that can leave you dazed and confused. But you must remember to write down your blessings daily- no matter what.

Maybe you can write two pages or maybe just one word. Either way, I challenge you to consider one blessing, in particular, that might have been overlooked.

*If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, God has looked upon you with extreme favor.*

Remember Jesus said, “No man can come to me except the Father which hath sent me hath drawn him…

When you find it hard to count your blessings, say “God I thank you that I am a believer!” Then start to thank Him in advance for the abundant life that He has already promised His people. Look up scriptures that confirm these promises. Nurture those verses in your heart. Wait patiently as God apply the infinite power of his Word to your particular situation.

Now, I know that your situation might look bleak. Things might appear hopeless right now. But because you are a believer, the potential is there to see the grace and mercy of God in an extraordinary way.

Jesus said that he came to give life in abundance. Abundance means overflowing fullness and ample sufficiency. It’s a lot more than just enough.

Remember, Jesus can do over and far beyond what you can even imagine* if * you just believe in him.IMG_1601

Scriptures to meditate on:

John 10:10-  The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (Amplified version)

John 6:44- No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him [giving him the desire to come to Me]; and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day. (Amplified version)

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, (Amplified version)

  1. Being reminded to think on our blessings is always good advice. Today I was blessed to spend the day with my father and grandchildren four generations together. Thank you for your thoughtful words

    1. You are very welcome. I am so happy you are blessed with time with your family. God is so good. Isn’t He?

  2. God is always present in our lives no matter what our circumstances. Keeping Gods word in our hearts and minds reaaures us that with him all things are possible and he will fulfill his promises to us.
